Your project is called Element Baby Book, See the attachments below for another copy of the project and the PowerPoint that explains how to complete each step with the example element, Lithium. Each of you have chosen a specific element to be your “baby” (please note- you can not use Lithium). One class period is plenty of time to complete the second page of the project handout. The rest of the project (constructing your baby book) will be completed on your own. This project is individual. Please ask me if you need help, don't understand something, or need help getting materials.
Reminders:---This project must be in a book format. 12 pt. font, Times New Roman (ask if you want to use another; keep away from hard to read font)
---Need a title, heading,---no lined paper (notebook),---if you do not type it, use only blue/black ink, or markers (no pencil)---never use Wikipedia (make sure you sources are credible), ---you can use EasyBib to help with citing your sources or you can list the URL

Students are to create a model of the layers of soil called a soil profile. Depending on which project they choose to create there must be either all 5 or 4 out of the 5 soil horizons present in the model.
